For me the Dove Awards, is bigger than the Grammy's. I love watching the entire Christian Music community come together for one night to celebrate and worship the past year's music.
Last night was the best Dove's I have seen in recent years. The music was amazing. The David Crowder Band and Switchfoot rocked. Mac Powell and Charlie Daniels did an amazing version of I'll Fly Away. And Third Day had a great pre-recorded release of Call My Name. The Best part of the night was Tobymac winning artist of the year. I've been following Toby since the days of DC Talk and it was great to see him win Big!
Jessica and I are planning on going next year.
